The Edits.
Three levels of direction. All with a point of view.
For photo sessions and the times when “what should we wear?” turns into 47 open tabs on your computer.
Some sessions need a quick answer. Some need the full eye. Some need a bigger idea and someone to make it work in real life.
Every Edit gives you a clear direction, thoughtful styling choices, and a plan that makes the whole frame feel intentional. Not costume-y.
Which Edit do you need?
The right Edit depends on how much direction you want, how many people we are styling, and how much creative lift the moment needs.
Start with what you know. I’ll help shape the rest.
No, you don’t all have to wear white.
Mini Edit
Focused StylingFor the session that needs clear direction, but not the full production.
A focused styling plan for up to 4 people, built around a clear palette, key outfit recommendations, and the pieces that make the most sense for your session.
You’ll get a starting point with a point of view: what belongs together, what to avoid, and how to make the frame feel connected without overbuilding the whole thing.
- Simple family sessions
- Maternity sessions
- Motherhood sessions
- Branding sessions
- Senior sessions
- A lighter styling need with a clear scope
Signature Edit
The Full EditFor when you want my eye on the whole thing.
The core Golden Hour Edit experience: a fuller styling plan built around your people, your setting, your photographer if you have one, and the story you want the photos to tell.
This is where I think through the palette, outfit direction, texture, proportion, color relationships, and the details that keep everything from feeling too expected.
- Family photo sessions
- Maternity or milestone sessions
- Multiple people to coordinate
- A fuller visual direction from palette to final plan
Custom Edit
Concept StylingFor bigger ideas, bigger groups, themed sessions, or anything that needs someone holding the line between intentional and too much.
The Custom Edit is for sessions with more moving parts: extended families, destination shoots, editorial ideas, brand-adjacent moments, or concepts that need a stronger visual point of view.
We can build around a location, a season, a theme, a family story, a photographer’s style, or one excellent piece that deserves a whole world around it.
- Extended family or larger group sessions
- Destination, travel, or location-led shoots
- Themed or concept-driven ideas
- Multiple looks or more moving parts
Edits start at $295 · pricing depends on scope, timing, number of people, and creative direction needed
Not sure which Edit fits?
Tell me about the session, the people, and what you are trying to make sense of. I’ll recommend the level of direction that fits the scope.
If you have already pulled outfits, links, or closet pieces, I may recommend a lighter styling review instead of a full Edit.
Evert After Photography
The Edit is not about making everyone match.
It is about giving the whole frame a point of view: color, texture, shape, setting, and the details that already belong, so the final images feel intentional without making the people feel overdone.
The clothes should support the story, not announce themselves louder than the moment.
A few things worth knowing.
The practical stuff, before anyone starts panic-ordering.
No. I send direct shopping links and styling direction so you can purchase what works for your budget, timing, and real life.
No. We can absolutely start with what you already have. Often the best Edit begins with one piece that already feels like you.
Yes. Sometimes the photographer is already part of the plan. I’ll style with that visual style in mind so the clothes, setting, and final images feel like they belong together.
No. Family sessions are a common use, but the Edit can support maternity, couples, travel, personal branding, or any real-life moment that deserves a clearer visual direction.
